West Park is an 11 - 16 school based in Spondon with 1451 pupils currently on roll. The school prides itself
on exceptional pupil achievement, dynamic teaching and learning and excellent behaviour and
engagement. We have a committed and talented staff team who work cohesively to get the best for all of
our pupils. The pupils themselves are focussed, polite, and positive and determined to take full advantage

The role itself will include 1:1 careers meetings with students, liaising with colleges and local authorities to
help support students to choose the most appropriate destination for them, organising events such as
transition information events, careers week activities and overall raising the profile of careers and
destinations across the whole setting. You will also be responsible for organising work experience
placements that are relevant and help to develop our young people's employability skills.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a Level 6 Diploma in career guidance and Development.

Pay Scale: NJC Scale 21-24 £30,825 - £33,024, Actual salary £18,744- £20,082
