Full Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting students in their journey toward future success? Do you have the drive to create a dynamic and resource-rich environment that promotes lifelong learning and career exploration? Leigh Stationers' Academy is seeking a dedicated Careers and Library Manager to lead our Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) program and oversee our Learning Resource Centre (Library).

Role Overview:
In this role, you'll deliver impartial career guidance for students exploring Post-14, Post-16, and Post-18 pathways, and manage work experience placements for KS4 and KS5. You'll also support career education across the curriculum, building connections with employers, colleges, and universities.

As Library Manager, you'll lead literacy support, curate resources, and promote reading enjoyment through engaging events and displays. Your goal is to make the library a supportive space for independent study and classroom-based learning.

You'll need a Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance (or similar qualification), or relevant experience with a commitment to training. Organisational skills, effective communication, and a collaborative spirit are essential, along with experience in career guidance or managing educational resources.

This is a permanent position offering an actual salary of £27,237 - £28,421 per annum (£29,559 - £30,843 full time equivalent) commensurate with experience, based on 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset.
