Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Salary: NJC SCALE 6 (18-20) £34,770 - £35,862 pro rataWorking Arrangement: Term Time Only 8.30am-4.30pmHours: 35 hours per weekClosing date for all applications: Friday 4th October 12pm We are looking for an experienced Careers Officer who will provide impartial, up-to-date career information, advice and guidance for individuals and groups of students at Mulberry UTC. The successful candidate will have:

  • A passion for helping young people to reach the destination of their choice
  • Experience of, or a strong interest in, one-to-one careers advice interviews
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to coordinate effectively with a range of external companies who provide work experience opportunities
  • Experience of using a range of administrative packages effectively and efficiently
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work successfully in a busy office environment
  • The School Mulberry UTC has gone from strength to strength since opening in September 2017. The school is now significantly over-subscribed and we are in the process of expanding the curriculum and planning for further future growth.
