Full Job Description

Cambridge Online Education are looking to welcome an experienced educational content Video Producer to support us in delivering on our mission to provide outstanding educational experiences and grow our portfolio and our brand throughout 2025 and beyond. We're a dynamic, fast-growing team of creative minds in need of a self-starter to ensure that we are creating world-class online courses, and to work closely with our partners and wider team., As an experienced educational content Video Producer, you will report to and work closely with the Senior Video Producer and other team members to manage the pre-production, production, and post-production process of video creation. This role is education content specific and will not involve, television, film or documentary filmmaking. You will be responsible for producing instructional videos, screencasts, course introductions, and interviews, ensuring that standards and quality are prioritised.

  • Understand briefs and provides creative input to pre-production design processes
  • Co-ordinate filming schedules, book and manage locations and studios.
  • Operate multiple camera setups and associated sound recording equipment, lighting and teleprompter.
  • Direct academics and other contributors to achieve the best possible performance.
  • Troubleshoot problems that may arise during production
  • Ensure correct maintenance and safe storage and transport of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice and health and safety laws
  • Edit video content using Adobe Premiere
  • Create motion graphics, including titles and other animation using After Effects if required.
  • Store and back up project files and associated media securely.

    A degree or HND in video or film production along with work experience in corporate video is desirable. Other competencies/characteristics required by this role are:
  • Creative, self-motivated, and results-oriented
  • Proven studio and location shoot management
  • Proven experience in video production, post-production, and motion graphics
  • Experience working in Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Sound editorial judgement and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand complex information, interpret briefs and seek feedback to validate understanding
