Full Job Description

  • Shifts required : 15 : 00 to 20 : 00 worked as 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off. This will include weekends and Bank holidays on the roster, Our Careline / Call Centre Operators provide emergency assistance and reassurance to thousands of retired Homeowners living in independently owned retirement apartments right across the UK.
  • As a Part-time Careline Operator, you will work as part of the call centre team, providing telephone-based customer support with responsibilities including :
  • Taking incoming calls and responding to a variety of situations including medical emergencies, fire panel alarms, security entry calls or speaking to people keen to hear a friendly voice.
  • Logging each call in our CRM system ensuring information is accurately recorded.
  • Providing a friendly, responsive, and attentive approach on every call.

    As a Part-time Careline / Call Centre Operator, you will be able to :
  • Display a warm and friendly telephone manner.
  • Be calm in a crisis situation and work well under pressure.
  • Embrace and learn new IT systems and technical knowledge with ease and be familiar with customer databases.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • As a customer service professional, you will understand the importance of excellent customer skills and a 'customer first' approach.
  • It is desirable to have a degree of experience in telephone-based or fast-paced customer service environments.
