Full Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Caretaker to join our team, working across secondary schools in Wrexham. The role involves maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and security of school premises. Duties include general maintenance, minor repairs, site security, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and students.

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Basic DIY skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.

    Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday.

  • Registrations required to be a Caretaker:
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
  • You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
