Caretaker

Bloxwich Academy Primary are seeking to appoint a Caretaker to support the maintenance of Bloxwich Academy Primary. The Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining and securing the school premises. Tasks include building maintenance, groundskeeping, health and safety inspections, security monitoring and cleaning. The successful candidate will ensure that the school environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.

To be successful for the role, the candidate will have the below experience and skills:

• Relevant experience of caretaking or a similar maintenance role;
• Knowledge and/or experience of health and safety processes;
• Ability to use IT systems for building maintenance recording;
• Ablility to complete all physical requirements of the role e.g. lifting furniture, standing for long period of times.
