Caretaker - Idris Davies 3-18 School

The Governing Body of Idris Davies School 3-18 is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Caretaker to join our expanding estates team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and flexible individual who is conscientious and eager to make a positive impact on our school environment. As a key member of our site team, you will be responsible for general site maintenance and ensuring our premises and grounds are kept to the highest standards. Your varied skill set will be essential for tasks such as:

• Cleaning and maintaining facilities
• Refilling consumables
• Painting and decorating
• Minor repairs and manual handling
• Grounds maintenance
You will play a vital role in ensuring that the entire site is in excellent condition for all pupils, staff, and visitors, fostering an effective learning and working environment. Shift Patterns: 6am - 2pm 11am - 7pm Additional hours may be available during weekends, allowing for flexibility in your working schedule.,
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep across the school site.
• Minimise health and safety risks for all users of the school.
• Work closely with and support the Senior Caretaker to ensure the efficient and effective daily running of the school facilities.
• Contribute to creating a warm, safe, and secure environment for all pupils, staff, and visitors.
