Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services. The role You will be joining our new mobile caretaking service working across Housing Services and Property Services, within Redditch Borough Councils social housing stock. You will responsible for Managing and coordinating the Caretakers to provide day-to-day caretaking service of our estates, blocks, and schemes, establishing a close working relationship with the community. We are looking for an individual who is flexible, approachable, and comfortable working in a team environment and is passionate about delivering a high quality caretaking service to our customers. Key Requirements
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Caretaker Team, providing, advise, guidance and support to the team as required.
- Undertake all Supervisory duties for the team including undertaking regular one to ones and appraisals, approving and scheduling leave and sickness and ensure that the team are motivated and delivering high quality customer services.
- Be proactive in your daily activities and aware of safe working practices, be able to deal with members of the public, staff, and community representatives in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at properties with internal communal areas as defined on agreed specifications and service standards
Previous Supervisory or Management experience in the caretaking maintenance sector. - Cleaning or caretaking experience.
- Full and current driving license
- Ability to drive a 4600kg vehicle
