Full Job Description

The Building Maintenance Department at Southampton General Hospital require qualified Carpenters to join our dedicated team on this modern healthcare estate. To keep the essential services running 24/7 you will enjoy working on a wide range of Carpentry works Trust wide.
Previous experience in an allied industry/application is desirable although not essential. You'll be required to demonstrate completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent at interview. The core elements of the job description require a good knowledge in respect of Carpentry and construction.

+ Served a recognised apprenticeship in relevant Carpentry trade
+ Level 3 (or higher) vocational trade certificate in Carpentry E.g., NVQ 3, C&G Level 3 or Equivalent
Armed Forces Qualification
+ To cover out of hour on call duties.
+ Driving License desirable.
+ Must be fit and be able to climb the ladder and work at heights.
