Full Job Description

The Apprenticeship Directorate is looking for a qualified and experienced Trainer/Assessor in Carpentry and Joinery. This role will work with a cohort of Level 2 and Level 3 apprentices and their employers, conducting progress reviews, training and assessing on the competency elements of the apprenticeship and being the main point of contact. Applicants for this post should have drive, enthusiasm, possess excellent interpersonal, I.T. and organisational skills and be mobile throughout the northeast region as this role involves travelling to employer premises and working across college sites.

We would welcome applications from candidates that hold vocational and teaching qualifications and have a proven record of training and assessing Carpentry and Joinery apprentices.
