Full Job Description

We are seeking a Client Service Procurement Specialist to join our team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and expertise in Learning & Development procurement. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them through the purchasing process and ensuring a seamless and cost-effective experience. Providing support to our client stakeholders in both EMEA and North America., Client Engagement and Procurement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client end users, offering guidance on L&D procurement processes, best practices, and available resources.
  • Collaborate with client requisitioners to understand their needs and navigate their requests through the appropriate buying channels and approval processes, adhering to client policies and procedures.
  • Leverage consultative and negotiating skills to influence client engagement managers, aligning procurement decisions with broader client and program objectives, prioritizing cost savings and leveraging preferred vendors.
  • Educate engagement managers and client requisitioners on effective L&D purchasing practices, highlighting appropriate sourcing channels and procurement policies.
  • Proactively communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to forecast L&D needs, build relationships, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Managing the RFx and SOW Lifecycle:
  • Engage with engagement managers to finalize RFx documents and determine the most effective path to a Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Ensure SOW compliance with client and KellyOCG policies.
  • Release RFx to preferred suppliers based on a supplier capabilities matrix and coordinate follow-up calls.
  • Coordinate and schedule supplier presentations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to determine the winning bid and conduct negotiations as needed.
  • Monitor approvals by managers and service providers, create amendments for changes, track PO spend, and monitor project end dates.
  • Ensure timely submittal of milestone payments, audit for accurate invoicing information, and research and resolve supplier payment issues.
  • Relationship Management and Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish and build professional rapport, follow up consistently, and maintain ongoing contact and communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a collaborative team member, ensuring a high level of service for all parties involved.
  • Proactively identify service delivery issues and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Maintain project and case records in designated technology platforms.
  • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports from technology platforms upon request.
  • Analyze and present results to procurement stakeholders.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery processes and maintain and enhance stakeholder experience.

    2-5 years of total work experience, with an emphasis on Procurement Indirect Services, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management for HR/Labor and Consulting/Professional Services categories.
  • Proficient in developing professional relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening abilities for problem-solving.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks requiring a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to lead and/or contribute to a team environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Functional PC and internet skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other internet-based web tools.
  • Strong business ethics, as well as business and financial acumen.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven business relationship management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
