Full Job Description

The role of Case Manager is an excellent opportunity to deliver a range of holistic and supportive employability interventions to refugees, as part of a new Home-Office funded contract. Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working alongside a large team, this role is key to providing timely, supportive, and sustainable impact for participants.,

  • Inducting, assessing, and 'on-boarding' participants, delivering high quality end to end information, advice, and guidance.
  • Promoting and developing the mind-set, emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and esteem of participants, so that they are better equipped, and succeed in the world of work.
  • Preparing CVs, cover letters, and job/apprenticeship application forms with participants, and undertaking job searches using relevant web-based software and packages.
  • Short listing, pre-selecting, and matching/submitting participants to vacancies/work experience opportunities generated by the Catch22 account management team, and preparing job packs on specific vacancies/work experience opportunities.
  • Introducing participants to a 'strength based' recruitment approach to succeeding in job interviews, preparing them to a high standard for interview with employers, and arranging interviews for participants where appropriate.
  • Engaging participants to ensure that they sustain their job or apprenticeship, and delivering high quality In Work Support, which effectively sustains participants for a minimum of six months.
  • Supporting with the delivery of any Job Fairs, Workshops, and Seminars, both face to face, and remote, that prepare participants ready for the world of work.

  • Approachable, adaptable, and supportive to the range of stakeholders involved in this programme.
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills, with the ability to develop strong rapport with referral partners, customers, training providers, employers, and participants.
  • Experience of providing employability-related coaching support, to build the self-confidence, skills, and abilities of job seekers/learners.
  • Great organisational, administrative, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines, produce reports, and deliver on objectives.
