Casenote Library Clerical Officer

The Casenote Library Clerical Officer works within the Casenote Library Team in the Trust's offsite Health Records Library. The team provides a casenote library and archive service to the acute clinical services of the Trust. This involves retrieving and filing casenotes in numerical order, scanning casenotes and reviewing casenotes that have met their minimum retention period., Maintain an efficient and effective filing system using the numerical reference

Ensure that casenotes are maintained to a high standard, repairing and creating additional volumes where necessary.

Sorting and filing incoming casenotes into numerical order using the numerical reference and using appropriate aids (e.g. trollies/cages/step stools/mobile safety steps).

Locate and physically retrieve casenotes from the bulk storage archive using the appropriate aids (e.g. trollies/cages/step stools/mobile safety steps).
