JOB PURPOSE

As a Cash Office Accounting Assistant, you will be accountable for the daily reconciliation of bank and control accounts for a number of legal entities across Burberry, undertaking various administration and processes in a multiple of currencies.

This Cash Office Accounting Assistant is offered on a 12 month fixed term basis, and will be based in our Queen Street, Leeds office for 2/3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Processing cash allocations in SAP
-Daily reconciliation of bank and control accounts, including matching of cash and credit card transactions in multiple accounts, in multiple currencies
-Daily upload of files from third parties
-Weekly reconciliation & replenishment of Burberry gift vouchers
-Production of Month End bank and control account reconciliations for allocated account
-Ageing balances & unreconciled items processes and investigation

PERSONAL PROFILE

-Previous experience in Cash Office Accounting/Bank reconciliations
-Knowledge of SAP experience (or any other purchasing order systems) preferred
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Ability to manage workload independently
-Track record of working well under pressure to achieve deadline
-Excellent communication skills across all levels
