Full Job Description

Reporting into the Cash Sales Manager, the successful Cash Sales Coordinator will be responsible for the receipt of our cash sales enquiries and accurate input of orders within our system for Aggregates and Asphalt. You will also monitor the progress of orders and work closely with the Cash Sale Manager & Internal commercial team to ensure that account requirements are understood and delivered in line with SLAs agreed with the customer. On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Cash Sales Coordinator will include (not exhaustive):

  • Supporting the Cash Sales Manager to deliver against targeted sales volumes, price and profitability targets
  • Working on call accuracy and quality in line with Tarmac standards
  • Proactively controlling and influencing the service relationship with customers based on a full understanding of their needs and requirements
  • Supporting the Cash Sales Manager, raising, pricing and chasing quotes & enquiries
  • Carrying out accurate order input and monitoring progress of orders ensuring the customer is kept informed of progress and any delays
  • Working with the distribution and operations teams to ensure that the orders placed are on time and in full
  • Supporting the Cash Sales Manager to implement the Cash Sales strategy
  • Working with wider commercial function to ensure all cross-sales opportunities are captured across all business units
  • Supporting in the delivery of the financial targets as set by the Business Unit and Regional management
  • Developing strong client relationships and look to further develop new relationships with potential customers

    No formal qualifications are necessary for this role, but the ideal Cash Sales Coordinator will be someone who is able to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment , has high levels of accuracy and drive & determination.
