Darlington Hippodrome are seeking to recruit Casual Arts Course Assistants for our Dance and Theatre classes.

Casual Arts Course Assistant - Dance
This role is to assist with our Foundation Dance classes. We are looking for somone with strong dance skills and a passion to pass those skills on to the next generation of dancers.

Run in partnership with The D Project, this programme trains young gifted dancers in contemporary and ballet with the long term aim of preparing them to audition for Dance City's Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) and other dance training routes. The programme consists of a weekly 1 hour ballet, strength and stretch class and a 2 hour contemporary technique and creative class. This class is by invitation and audition only.

Casual Arts Course Assistant - Theatre
This role is to assist with the delivery of our 7-10s Youth Theatre class.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in theatre, and a desire to help young people discover their skills and potential in the arts.

Hippodrome Youth Theatre classes offer young people in Darlington the opportunity to come together to create excellent performance work. Our sessions are fun, welcoming and engaging, and provide a chance for everyone to take part in safe, friendly environment. Young people get to make friends, become part of a team and contribute their individual creative ideas to make exciting, inspiring theatre.
