Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Benn Hall as part of the bar staff team. The Benn Hall is Rugby's premier entertainment venue! Theatre, Music & Comedy Events all year round and also available for hire for any type of private event or function. We're constantly innovating our offerings and desirability as a social hub and destination venue in the heart of the town.

The successful person will be required to undertake general bar work, this will include but is not limited to;

  • Providing excellent customer service to a wide range of customers

  • Serving drinks and snacks in a professional, timely manner

  • Being aware and following licensing laws and procedures at all times.

  • Assist in the general cleaning of the building during and after events

  • Responsible for keeping the bar area clean, tidy and stocked up at all times.

  • On some occasions you may need to move the tables and chairs in order to set up for the next function

    Previous experience in bar and catering or a customer facing role would be desirable. This role will involve unsociable working hours such as weekends, evenings and bank holidays, with a degree of flexibility required for availability.
