Full Job Description
This is a casual/seasonal role requiring flexibility working across various programmes of Ipswich Town Foundation including but not limited to:
Monday - Boxing, Murrayside 4:30-6pm
Tuesday - Ipswich Academy, 3:15-5:15pm
Wednesday - Chantry Academy, 3-5pm
Thursday - Felixstowe, 3:15-5pm
Friday - Portman Road, 5:30-8:30pm
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated PL Kicks coaches to deliver structured and enjoyable football sessions which are inclusive and allow participants to reach their potential. The PL Kicks coaches will also provide information, advice and guidance to participants on matters such as diversion from youth anti-social behaviour and crime, education and employment in a mentoring capacity in Kicks sessions across Suffolk. There is also the potential to work in formal projects such as schools, colleges and health settings
JOB ROLE OUTLINE
The role will be working across our Elite provisions across the Foundation within a variety of programmes, ensuring lifelong memories are created through positive experiences. The individual will provide outstanding session plans, delivery and feedback for all participants within their group to ensure high standards are being maintained across the Foundation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Maintain a flexible approach to provide high levels of engagement on the Kicks programme.
- Good role model to young people whilst representing Ipswich Town Foundation and informing participants of other opportunities within the Foundation.
- Support the planning and delivery of the Premier League Kicks sessions.
- Proactively engage participants in informal education activities, youth social action and youth voice projects as well as engaging with parents, partners and facility staff.
- Adhere to Ipswich Town Foundation policies and procedures
Ability to communicate with young people and parents effectively
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Able to manage large groups effectively and safely.
Minimum Introduction to Coaching Football or FA level 1 Football Coaching
FA Introduction to First Aid in Football accreditation.
FA Safeguarding Children Course accreditation
Hold Full driving licence
Maintain a high standard of work
Reliable and dependable
