Stockton Globe was built in 1935 and had its first heyday in the 1960's and 70's when many of the most iconic musicians played, Tom Jones, Shirley Basset, Status Quo and The Rolling Stones. Cliff Richard and Shadows wrote the music for Summer Holiday here and famously the Beatles played here the night JFK was shot. After the venue closed its doors it had a new life as a Mecca Bingo Hall before closing its doors in the late 1990's. A £28 million renovation finished in 2021 saw ATG take over as its new operator with its brief to bring the Stars back to Stockton. Once again Stockton is hosting some of the greatest contemporary music artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Morrissey and Paloma Faith and a wealth of the best Comedians touring the country today, including Michael Macintyre, Sarah Millican, John Bishop to name but a few. Stockton Globe is one of ATG's Music, Comedy and Events venues. Its team are passionate about live entertainment and events committed to providing the highest
quality experience to its customers and performers to ensure we are the first choice venue in the North East.

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged, and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible.

If you'd like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please review our job description where you will see a contact email address to request a confidential discussion.
