Full Job Description
As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fitness classes to our members. Your responsibilities will include leading group sessions, motivating participants, ensuring safety during workouts, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong knowledge of exercise techniques, the ability to create engaging workout routines, and effective communication skills. You will collaborate closely with the fitness team to maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.,
- Conducting a variety of group exercise classes that cater to different fitness levels and interests.
- Encouraging and inspiring members to achieve their fitness goals while maintaining a fun and engaging class atmosphere.
- Monitoring class participants to ensure they are performing exercises correctly and safely, providing modifications when necessary.
- Interacting with members before and after classes, addressing any questions or concerns, and creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Designing and implementing diverse workout routines that keep classes fresh, exciting, and challenging.
- Working closely with the fitness team to share best practices, coordinate class schedules, and contribute to the overall success of the fitness program.
You must have a Group Exercise Instruction Qualification. - Les Mills Qualification (desirable).
- Exercise to music Qualification.
- Previous experience teaching group fitness classes.
- Strong understanding of exercise techniques, fitness principles, and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to motivate and engage participants, and capable of providing modifications for varying fitness levels.
- Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic about fitness, with a genuine interest in helping others achieve their fitness goals.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, share best practices, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
