Casual Library Assistant

Shropshire Libraries have 4 vacancies for a Casual Library Assistant to work as part of the team at Oswestry Library. The main duties of the post will be to operate the Library efficiently, providing a positive experience to all customers and ensuring a safe and welcoming community space.

The hours would be worked on an ad-hoc basis, subject to the offering and acceptance of individual shifts as need arises. Normal working hours at Oswestry Library are between 9am and 5pm Mon-Fri, (6pm on Wed) and 9-4pm on Saturdays. Once trained, Casual Library Assistants may also be offered shifts at other library locations if they opt in for this.
