Full Job Description

Lancaster City Council is recruiting Casual Museum Assistants (Education and Outreach) to work at the Lancaster City Museums.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team that work across three sites that includes four museums. The Lancaster City Museum which also houses the King's Own Royal Regiment Museum, the Maritime Museum and the Cottage Museum.

You will help to deliver an exciting range of events, craft activities and school education sessions to school groups and families. Responsibilities will also include set-up of resources needed for sessions, including photocopying, moving and dismantling furniture and equipment used.

There will also be opportunities to deliver our popular outreach programme to schools, care homes and other partners.

The successful applicant will be subject to a basic clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
