Full Job Description

As a member of our support team, you will be assisting people we support with their day-to-day activities such as personal care, cooking, housework, going to the shops or attending any activities they may be interested in. You will work with these individuals to encourage independence, choice and involvement in their own lives, and to promote their active participation in their chosen community.

  • Have at least 6 months' experience as a Support Worker/ Care Assistant or the equivalent in a similar setting; or Currently studying health sciences subjects at undergraduate/post graduate level
  • Able to commit to regular work +20hr per week
  • Hold full valid British driving licence (manual gear)
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, the people we support and a range of stakeholders
  • Be kind and caring, have a proactive attitude and willingness to be flexible and adaptable
  • Be able to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Be willing to learn and committed to delivering a high-quality service to the people we support
