Casual Technician

ATG Entertainment is proud to stand at the forefront of the live entertainment industry.

Our expertise and capabilities enable producers and other creatives to bring their visions to life and create unforgettable performances for audiences, presented in our landmark venues and delivered with exceptional hospitality. It is the passion of our teams, that cover every discipline across the live entertainment industry, that underpins our continuing strategic growth and success.

The Victoria Hall was built in 1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. The Victoria Hall has now established itself as one of the most popular venues on the touring circuit and has played host to an impressive array of famous faces including Paul Weller, Anastasia, Jimmy Carr, Dizzee Rascal. Built in 1929 by Provincial Cinematograph Theatres, Our second Stoke venue, the Regent Theatre initially served as a cinema. It hosted live performances alongside films and was renamed 'The Gaumont' in 1950 under Gaumont British ownership. By the 1990s, deteriorating conditions threatened closure, prompting the formation of the Regent Theatre Trust. A £23 million, three-year restoration ensued and in September 1999 the Regent Theatre was officially reopened by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

People are at the heart of our success. We are passionate about bringing great live experiences to the widest possible audience; about giving the world's best creative talent the stage it deserves; and about providing our people and partners with opportunities to realise their full potential.

Nothing beats the energy and excitement of a great live show! If you're looking forward to getting back into the theatre this year then our team would like to hear from you. We're looking for new members of our casual technical team to join us for our upcoming programme of high-profile musicals, theatre, comedy and live music in our wonderful venue.

You'll be involved in all aspects of the Technical team's work, including working shows and events, fit-ups and get-outs, and contributing to the maintenance of the theatre's systems and equipment back and front of house. For full details please take a look at our job description download. We're keen to hear from people with a wide range of relevant skills and experiences.
