An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catalogue Administrator to join our Purchasing and Supplies Team The post holder will assist the Head of Purchasing and Supplies, their Deputy and the E-Procurement Manager in delivery of an efficient and effective procurement service. There is an expectation that this will be achieved by the effective management of supplier catalogues for the trust. The role will also provide training for end users and the buying team on the efficient use of cataloguing and keeping it up to date., The Purchasing and Supplies Department secures best value for money purchases for the Trust, by having the catalogues readily available to staff. It allows end users to order at ease and helps the Buying Team to ensure pricing agreements are up to date and best value. Catalogue uptake is a key measured metric introduced in line with Lord Carter of Coles' recommendations which forms part of the Model Hospital benchmarking and Procurement League Tables, where the MWL Procurement Department are benchmarked against their peers.

Community Services Providing adult community services for St Helens and a wheelchair service in Chorley, South Ribble, and West Lancashire. Our inpatient unit at Newton Community Hospital is where patients needing acute hospital beds can continue rehabilitation, freeing up space for more unwell patients. We also provide urgent care at our Urgent Treatment Centre located in St Helens town centre. Specialist Regional Services We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
