Category Manager

We're already number 1 in the wet dog food category, but we're looking to drive further growth in our brand and in our team, through this new role., You'll be responsible for delivering best-in-class category leadership for a dedicated group of customers - you will be the go-to category person in your channel bringing together category, customer and shopper insights to become a trusted category expert for your customers, supporting them to drive growth in their wet dog food. Internally you will work closely with Butcher's business account managers to help shape our channel strategy using a variety of data sources.

Are you a data-driven Category Manager working in branded FMCG? Do you want to help pet owners to nourish their furry family members? Can you build great customer relationships? If you can answer yes, we want to talk to you!, You'll support multiple accounts across retail and wholesale channels, so the ability to develop relationships with your customers will be key to your success.

You'll have a strong background in panel data (either Kantar, Neilsen IQ, or both), and will have an analytical mindset allowing you to interpret market and category data and use your findings to support to shopper activation team, and to create and present compelling sell stories, for in-store and trade marketing.

You need to have worked in an FMCG business, within a category manager or executive role - you don't need to have experience working in the pet category - although if you do, we'd be thrilled to hear from you.
