Full Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead on and execute sourcing, contracting and supply management activity across all Caravan-related spend areas, including decking and maintenance, as well as leading on supplier-side warranty and the aftersales agenda. This is a key category for our business and you will work with stakeholders across the operation., Leading and developing the Caravans category, including developing and executing new opportunities to deliver continuous improvement across the supply base
- Developing the commercial relationship with your suppliers
- Taking accountability for going to market, sourcing, procuring, negotiating, contracting and ongoing category management of all supplier spend in their categories
- Working with your stakeholders to assist them in determining the business needs / specification and develop appropriate sourcing strategies
- Ensure in-depth understanding of aftersales relating to each manufacturer performance and act as point of escalation for parks.

Sourcing, contracting and category management experience
- Knowledge of caravans and their manufacture, maintenance and operation
- Advanced stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across multiple different areas and many stakeholders
- Comprehensive experience across the full procurement spectrum, with food and beverage experience
