Full Job Description

The Catering Department at Blandford Hospital requires a hard-working enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join a friendly and dedicated catering team.
This post is working a two-week rota which includes working alternate weekends.
Week 1 Week 2
Monday 07.00 - 15.00 Sunday 11.30 -18.30
Tuesday 11.00 - 18.30 Wednesday 07.00 -15.00
Thursday 11.00 -18.30 Thursday 0.7.30 - 14.30
Saturday 11.30 - 18.30 Friday 11.00 - 18.30
Additional hours are usually available to cover annual leave and sickness absence.
Enhancements are payable for weekend work and you will receive a generous annual leave allowance., Supporting our catering service with food preparation, meal service for patients, staff, and visitors. Other duties will include washing up and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the catering department.

A flexible approach, good communication and organisational skills are essential for this post. Basic food Hygiene Certificate and previous experience in a catering environment would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
