Full Job Description

You will work shifts starting at 11.30am finishing at 2.45pm Monday to Sunday on a rota basis with a 15 minute break. The contracted hours are 15 per week., The main duties for the successful applicants are wide ranging and in brief cover the following : To be part of the team involved in maintaining the extremely high standards of hygiene within the department following departmental cleaning sheets and guidelines. To serve on the patient conveyor belt making up patient food orders. To deliver patient food trolleys to the wards. To serve within the staff visitor outlets including the tills. To assist making up salads and sandwiches as required. To assist working on the dish washer. To carry out any general food prep or cleaning around the site as required by the management team. To work in the retail outlets as required and directed by the management team.

We are seeking to appoint a catering assistant to join our excellent catering team based at Stepping Hill Hospital, the applicants must be enthusiastic and self motivated. The role is fast paced and requires a degree of manual dexterity and the ability to work as part of a team.
