Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at Royal Berkshire Hospital on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a part-time role, ideal for individuals looking to work during school hours or seeking flexible work. You will help ensure that our patients, staff, and visitors receive high-quality meals and service.,

  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
  • Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Supporting the kitchen team with general duties, including washing up and maintaining food hygiene standards.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service to hospital staff, patients, and visitors.

    Previous experience in a catering or food service role is an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
