Catering Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to join our Food & Beverage team at SUSU. We have varied food outlets including The Bridge Café Bar, Red Brick Kitchen street food trailer, and the Plant Pot sustainable café. You will be fully trained in how to produce the dishes on the menus of the various outlets and will work with experienced team members to deliver excellent food to our students.

Each of the three outlets are busy and vibrant venues where you will need to work alongside the other kitchen staff and the front of house staff to ensure a great customer experience.

Experience is not required as we will give you full training, however what you will need is an interest in food and a passion for serving students.

About You
You will need to be confident and outgoing, able to communicate well in the sometimes-stressful environment of a kitchen. You will need to be capable of organising yourself and planning what comes next to ensure a slick service alongside the rest of the team. If you have this, we can provide you with the training to deliver our great menus to the students and staff of the University of Southampton.
