Catering Assistant

We currently have a new opening for Catering Assistant to join St Mary's Catholic High School, helping to co-ordinate day-to-day activities within the kitchen and ensuring quality services are provided to students and staff., You'll be responsible in assisting with school menu planning, food preparation and cooking, and working within a wider team to ensure catering services are carried out efficiently on a daily basis, including stock control and ensuring duties are carried out within a set budget. You will help ensure that food is presented and served in a hygienic and appealing manner, contributing to a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment for team members and for customers (staff and students).

• Previous experience in catering or a similar role
• Awareness of Health and Safety, COSHH, dietary and allergen requirements
• Commitment to providing a high-quality and consistent catering service with the ability to work within a busy environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
