Catering Assistant

We're looking for someone who can be a part of our mission to deliver a front-line catering service that supports support pupils with their life skills and the preparation of healthy and nutritious food.

Calling all individuals with experience in catering, an understanding for the differing needs of young people with special educational needs and a genuine passion for promoting healthy and balanced eating!, Your role as a Catering Assistant goes beyond just cooking. You will also play a vital role in fostering a positive dining experience for students. From creating a welcoming atmosphere to providing exceptional customer service, your friendly and approachable nature will ensure that students feel valued and cared for during mealtimes. As an essential member of the Catering Team, you will thrive in a busy environment, be adaptable and flexible and will support colleagues to maintain high professional standards. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

What is term time only working? A term time only contract is for our staff who are employed to work only during periods when schools are open. Your pay is calculated on an annual basis and then you are paid over twelve equal monthly instalments.
