Full Job Description

As a Catering Assistant/Cleaner at Sodexo in Bassetlaw hospital, Kilton Hill, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S81 0BD, you will help with the preparation and serving of our vibrant menu whilst ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Great customer service and a cheerful temperament is vital in this role, your interaction with patients, staff and visitors can help to alleviate some of the stress that is often associated with hospitals.   • Assist in setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods from counters and steamtables
  • Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations
  • Reads recipes and/or product directions
  • Breakdown stations at the end of meal periods or service

    A passion for providing nutritious and delicious meals
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others
  • Basic food-handling skills
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
