Catering Assistant (FlexiBank)

Reporting to the Catering Lead, the successful Bank Catering Assistant will be responsible for ensuring excellent catering services are delivered to patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.

This role will include working within our Kitchen and Ward areas as required. The duties will include:

o Set up or close down of our Kitchen, including opening and closing stock
o To ensure the cold and hot serveries are maintained with fresh food
o Use of tills and cash handling including opening and closing tills
o Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
o Disposal of waste
o General cleaning of the food areas
o Preparation of patients meals
o Cooking duties

o GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
o Food Safety Level 2 certificate

DESIRABLES

o Previous food service experience
o Experience of working in a private healthcare environment
o Catering experience at front of house
