Catering Assistant - Ref 128

We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Upminster, for a Catering Assistant to work in the 6th Form Cafeteria
joining the team at Accent from September 2024.

This is a part time position working 20 hours per week, 10am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday term-time only - so all the school
holidays off!

Starting September 2024

Joining our educational site, you will need to be a fast working all-rounder. Working as part of a team your daily tasks will
mainly consist of:

• general kitchen duties


• putting away deliveries


• food preparation


• serving, cleaning and washing up


• maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the

service time

• speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner


• assisting customers whenever necessary, listening to any comments they may have and relaying these to the Manager or Chef


• undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
  
  This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to

demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
