Full Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Catering Chef who has 5 years' experience of working in a busy, fast paced kitchen environment. The Catering Chef will be instrumental in delivering superb quality culinary experience to our discerning client base including catering for weddings and events at Over Farm.

Job Objectives

· To cater for a full 3 course wedding meal for 120 people followed by evening food for up to 180.

· Events - Working in a catering trailer on or off site. Our trailer has a mirror griddle and 40L fryer.

· Happy to get stuck in and prep for events as required.

· Setting up and catering events and festivals on site followed by the clean down process.

· Work with the Food & Beverage Manager to establish future opportunities.

· Develop thorough systems and processes in order to maintain quality standards without the need for micromanagement.

· Maintain high levels of motivation by offering continued training and development for the assembled team.

· Have maximum fun whilst offering our customers the best experience.

· Have a genuine interest in the further development of a successful catering business.

Excellent culinary skills

Excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene - With a Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Qualification

Minimum of five years' culinary experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

Able to communicate well with the wider team, external suppliers and with our customer base including paying patrons at events.

They will need to be versatile and be open to catering in varying locations and comfortable working with others.

Must be flexible and willing to work hard to meet the demands of the business - its hard work but its also fun working with us!

Full drivers licence required and trailer experience would be advantageous,
