Catering Co-ordinator

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

• Experience of catering for around 50 individuals
• Experience of working in a residential or similar setting
• Awareness of Health and Safety and Food Standards protocols
• Awareness of dietary requirements and IDDSI framework

We are currently looking for a part-time Catering Co-ordinator for 19.375 hours per week (working on a 4 week rota, over 7 days) to join our team. Broadmeadow is a care centre that provides short term placements, assisting people to regain their independence and meet their aims and objectives. We offer a short stay service for adults with physical needs, Dementia or other cognitive impairment who require rehabilitation, assessment or respite. We are able to offer you a comprehensive induction package. This will include mandatory training as well as access to multiple personal development courses. You will already hold an NVQ/Diploma Level 2 or equivalent. We can also offer this programme to the right candidate if not held upon commencing employment. The annual starting salary for this post is £24,040 based on full time hours of 37 hours per week, with performance related progression up to £25,002.
