Full Job Description

As a Catering Supervisor your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals for pupils including conveying to another site

  • Planning and controlling all aspects of the service

  • keeping the kitchen clean & tidy

  • Costing, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records using IT skills

  • I Learning and Oracle

  • Staff training

  • To maintain a menu with balanced diets and allergen control

  • To be aware of the care users' needs and dietary preferences.

  • You will work collaboratively with managers and supervisors to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens

    Essential:

  • Good people skills

  • Passion about food and customer service

  • Great team player

  • Food Safety Level 3

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Allergy Awareness Certificate

  • Experience in a similar environment

  • High standards and quality drive

    Grade 3 £25,119 - £31,364(pro rata) Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

    We are a Living Wage Employer, and all our roles will be paid as such where the pay scales are below the Living Wage rate.

    Term Time Only working 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.30am-2pm approx (hours to be confirmed)
