Full Job Description

The post-holder will lead and supervise the catering team in the provision and delivery of all patient catering services with specific responsibilities for patient meals, retail, and hospitality in line with the NHS food review.
You will carry out a comprehensive range of tasks such as cash handling, audits and supervisory tasks to include rotas, sickness and to assist in the day to day management based at Queens Hospital.
The work is varied and interesting, it demands initiative and awareness. Good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team plus a flexible approach to working hours, which will include, weekends and Bank Holidays which are all essential in order to meet the needs of the department.
Full training will be given.

The ideal candidates should have achieved their NVQ Supervisory/Management or equivalent qualification, have good communication skills and be able to work in challenge times. You will be a supporting role to the team and be able to adapt to working within all areas of the department.
