Full Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a service committed to improving the health and wellbeing of frail and or older people. The Community Assessment and Treatment Services (CATS) provides rapid access to a multidisciplinary team comprising of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and OTs for primarily frail and/or elderly patients with a strong focus on providing high quality care for people with frailty. We are looking for a Team Lead who will provide clinical and operational leadership to the CATS multidisciplinary team, provide physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans for our patients and oversee the new Marlow CATS Rehabilitation Service. This is a great opportunity to develop experience leading and managing a multidisciplinary team comprising of physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, registered Nurses, Health Care assistants and rehab support workers. Furthermore, it gives the opportunity to work alongside GPs with a special interest in elderly care enabling clinical development in frailty and in falls prevention.Main duties of the job The successful candidate will lead the day to day operational and clinical running of the Community Assessment and Treatment Service; ensuring the service is running safely, efficiently, and effectively. They will provide leadership to and education opportunities for the CATS staff and work clinically as required providing highly skilled physiotherapy assessments. The successful candidate will have experience of planning and organising services that may need review and adjustment on a regular basis. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is calm under pressure and to help further develop the Community Assessment and Treatment Service The services run from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that applicants can travel effectively and independently between Trust sites within the geographical area.
