We're looking for vigilant visionaries to come and join the frontline of security at Professional Surveillance Management (PSM) Ltd, based in the heart of Wigan.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

There's no 'typical' day in the life of our operators; each day presents a fresh set of challenges to our clients' security, so lightning-fast reflexes is a must. You'll be the first to spot suspicious activity, springing into action and teaming up with law enforcement to guide security teams on the ground. And, if truth be told, you'll no doubt witness some 'idiots caught on camera' moments along the way.

As well as the excitement of the day-to-day, what else can you expect?, 1. Monitor and respond to CCTV and intruder alarm events from commercial and domestic properties

2. Liaise with the police, keyholder, end users and any relevant authorities.

3. Regulate staff and contractor access to customer sites. Operate barrier and gate access and carry out customer requests such as set / unset of system

4. Perform nightly patrols and video escorting

5. Provide exceptional customer service at all times and help customers with CCTV enquiries

6. Report faults and challenges to keyholders in line with their Operations Policy

7. Deal with incoming and outgoing telephone calls - including general alarm queries, customer requests and criminal incidents

8. Deal with relevant incoming emails

9. Ensure all relevant and important information is logged for co-workers. Exchange information with the next shift

10. Keep up to date with any new customer events, incidents and queries since last shift

11. Build up knowledge of each site and develop relationships with customers

12. Ensure all customer records and data are updated including regular update of camera reference images, keyholders, passwords, occupation times, and response procedures

13. Perform daily checks and administration duties to ensure the continued smooth running of the control room

14. Manage and complete the objectives set by management effectively and within timescale

· Two bonuses each year up to £500 each

· £13.00 per hour after probation. £12.50 per hour during 12 week probation.
