Full Job Description

The Commissioning Engineer will be part of a multi discipline commissioning team that will support the project commissioning team leader through the commissioning preparation and execution phases. The commissioning Engineer will:

  • Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. He ensures that he is a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety
  • Carry out commissioning preparation, test documents, commissioning test packs and RAMS
  • Carry out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning
  • Contribute to the production of test documentation and to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs
  • Perform testing activities for witnessing by third-parties
  • Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids
  • Contribute to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements Actively drive continuous improvement within the commissioning process and actively drive progress to meet schedule dead-lines
  • Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule
  • Experience with completions management systems
  • Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or route to achieve similar Commissioning in a similar role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry
