CEIAG Coordinator

Required as soon as possible

Band 7 Point 11-17 (Actual Salary £21,232 - £23,513) Permanent 35 hours per week (hours can be negotiated) term time only plus 5 days.

The Governors of The Holy Family Catholic School wish to appoint a CEIAG Coordinator.

The CEIAG Coordinator will be part of a wider pastoral team who are critical in supporting the personal development of our students throughout the whole of their time with us at the school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of CEIAG including a work experience programme, work related learning and independent and impartial Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance. In addition, to ensure the school is adhering to the statutory guidance for careers guidance, access for education and training providers and working towards meeting the 8 Gatsby benchmarks. This will be under the direction of SLT.

The successful candidate will also have good communication skills with all stakeholders and the ability to disseminate information with clarity. In addition, they will be able to carry out duties in a timely manner and meet deadlines, producing work of a high quality. It is essential that you have experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.

The Holy Family Catholic School, a Voluntary Academy is part of The Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust, serving the town of Keighley and surrounding villages in pleasant rural surroundings. The school is on a rapid improvement journey. Governors appointed a new Headteacher in September 2021, and the school leadership team has also been recently restructured.
