Full Job Description

The Central Parts Operative will report to the Central Group Parts Supervisor/Parts Manager and will be directly responsible for the pricing of parts, ordering of parts, ordering of consumables and administration of parts and consumables booked to Vehicles across multiple Constellation Group Companies. Will be responsible for managing and resolving all types of Part and consumable Enquiries incoming across varying contracts and from varying business divisions., Directly control parts and consumables pricing being input into Group systems.
Directly control parts and consumables orders being placed and recorded into Group systems.
Liaise directly with varying sites parts department and inspection teams.
Liaise directly with suppliers providing goods into the varying company sites.
Ensure that all parts and consumable pricing is recorded promptly and accurately within defined KPI guidelines for customer authorisation.
Ensure that all parts and consumable ordering is completed within KPI guidelines once authorisation is provided by customer.
Ensure that all parts orders are processed and sent to suppliers effectively and efficiently in line with supplier contractual requirements, ensuring total customer focus.
Ensure that all parts requirements when pricing are in line with the best attainable commercial values for that customer.
Ensure that systems are kept up to date with parts ordering information entered accurately and concisely.
Monitor all parts ordering, parts progress and communicate internally with sites relevant parts statuses.
Monitor all parts backorder issues and communicate effectively to internal site teams on parts backorders.
Offer alternative parts solutions internally when usual supply options are not available.
Manage stock levels, ensuring stock entered is correct to site location. Includes management and re-allocation of non-returnable parts from sites.
Monitor site parts returns and processes recording reasons and improving right first time solutions.
Order and control consumable stock holding by sites.

Experience in dealership and workshop environment beneficial but not essential.
High degree of customer focus and front-line communication.
Parts stock control.
IT experience with MS office and Database management systems desirable.
