Full Job Description

  • Serve as the primary contact for GP practices regarding patient referrals.
  • Efficiently book referrals through the E-referrals system in chronological order.
  • Collaborate in building and updating the Directory of services within ERS.
  • Work closely with Business Support Managers to identify additional outpatient capacity.
  • Create and modify patient communication letters in Careflow.
  • Coordinate the receipt of two-week wait referrals from GP practices
  • Maintain permanent clinic changes on Careflow to match consultant job plans
  • Stay informed about local and national initiatives affecting outpatient bookings.
  • Continuously review and enhance existing working methods.
  • Pilot and implement new procedures and systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with mandatory training.
  • Offer support to the team as needed.
