  • Maintain a high profile `shop floor` presence and a high level of interaction with fellow staff and customers.
  • To assist on Reception as required and/or carry out duties of other members of staff as necessary, e.g. cover for breaks, holiday, sickness etc.
  • To comply with the Pool Safe Operating Procedures at all times.
  • To be responsible at all times for security of the building and its contents.
  • To ensure the prompt preparation of all activity areas including the safe setting up, dismantling and storage of the equipment.
  • To attend regular Lifeguard training sessions to ensure ongoing personal development and compliance of the requirements of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

    You have experience in working as a Lifeguard or in a Leisure facility.
  • You have a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or willing to attend the course.
  • You are able to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
  • You have a firm commitment to providing excellence in customer service
  • You understand the need for confidentiality with a professional and caring approach to work.
  • You have a commitment to team-working and respect and consideration for the skills of others.
  • You enjoy working in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • You are a friendly, enthusiastic, hardworking individual who are keen to learn new skills.
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
