Cerebral Palsy Support Worker

This is an opportunity to support a mid 20s adult with cerebral palsy in the Chippenham area. The client is active, fun-loving, and communicates using a mix of speech and Makaton sign language. The role involves delivering personalized care and support, assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members., The Cerebral Palsy Support Worker will be responsible for delivering 24-hour shifts with waking days and sleeping nights, providing personalized care and support to the client. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records of care. The role requires previous experience in a similar complex care setting, relevant qualifications, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
