Full Job Description

We are looking for a Channel Operations Specialist to come and join the Channel Operations Team. You will report into the Channel Operation Manager, working with the team to maximise on time customer availability of products whilst balancing business risk on inventory for the UK.

This is a demanding role in a fast-paced area of the business. This role needs someone who is flexible, happy to pitch in and get involved in some exciting launches.,

  • Owning all inventory activity from point of PO to removal from sale. Influence commercial, marketing and portfolio teams to ensure that right decisions taken at right time to achieve Vodafone's objectives.

  • Simplifying and improving supply chain processes including building collaborative relationships across Devices Ops team and vendors, measuring performance of self and vendors to achieve supply chain excellence.

  • Running collaborative allocation planning based on BAU trends, Promos, Sales activities, and Recalls.

  • Working proactively with Commercial, Marketing to launch new products successfully, ensuring all parts of the supply chain are informed and ready to manage each product by the launch date. You will need to balance their needs and targets with those of Supply Chain, finding a suitable compromise and best decision for Vodafone where needed.

    You need to be someone who can use data and help bridge the gap between supply chain and retail, to understand what is happening with stock in a meaningful way. You will be challenged by Senior stakeholders in this area, so you need to be comfortable with this and with pushing back as needed., Expertise in use of stock and planning systems to manage stock inbounding, allocations and replenishment.

  • MS Excel experience with ability to present and interpret supply chain data.

  • Demand planning experience.
